Seven of us went on Saturday night during the Grand Prix. The food was AMAZING. We decided to order a variety of dishes and then share as no one in our party was particularly experienced with Indonesian food. We loved every dish that came out, and the flavours of each of the dishes were so different. The waiter took time to explain that the dishes all came from a different provence and that was why there was so many different flavours. The down side of the meal was the noise. The restaurant was packed with locals and it was hard to relax due to the level of noise. Thats the only reason I didn't give it the 5th star. The bill with beer and wine and tip and shared appetizers came to about 35 dollars each - Very good value in my book.

The night we were there it had no atmosphere. Also, 2 of the dishes had to be sent back to be reheated. We often travel in Holland and are familiar with Indonesian food. We had been looking forward to this restaurant. But I would not go there again - sorry.

This is not authentic indonesian food. And you have to wait long time to get your food and the price is expensive. Won't recommend it. Please save your money and time

We went with our 2 young kids. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the chicken satay, Sayur Asam soup (tamarind based soup) and the Otak-Otak ikan (banana leaf wrapped fish cakes). We gobbled everything up. I only wish that the fish cakes could have come with the banana leaf around the fish cakes. For mains, we shared Ikan Bumbu bali (pan seared mackerel) and Lontong Sayur (a red curry soup-like dish with tofu, young jackfruit and chayote). My young daughter loved the fish and ate most of it. The rest of us happily ate the Lontong Sayur with rice. Host was very friendly and made us very comfortable, patiently guiding us through the exotic (for us) menu. Sometimes when there are a lot of flavours in a dish, it can taste too heavy and blunt but everything we had was well balanced - just perfect!

This is definitely a hidden gem! A small restaurant with only a few tables next to the Upstairs jazz club. The interior is rather simple but the restaurant is very clean and one feels very welcome. We had fishcakes and a gado gado salad as appetizers. Both dishes were great. The salad was really a stunning revelation of unprecedented flavors. As mains, we had Bami Goreng noodles and a curry chicken. Again, both dishes were very well cooked. Overall, this Indonesian restaurant is highly recommended.
