The staff were so helpful, 24 hour reception, the afternoon spread of tea/coffee and nibbles a real pleasant surprise. The fresh flowers in the lounge area just added to the extra care and pride they had in this little hotel, it made our stay very special in Montreal.

The wicker picnic basket breakfast hampers were a novelty, this meant we could enjoy our breakfast either in our room or in the well equiped breakfast area.

We were over from the Uk visiting our daughter who is at University there, when we return for a future visit we will certainly use this cosy, clean and very pleasant hotel again.

Everyone at the hotel was SO NICE! I don't speak French, but my girlfriend does. However, all the employees speak both French and English, and they'll make things very easy for you. They helped us many times with directions and restaurant recommendations.

Very clean and quiet hotel. The room we got included everything we needed - a full (bordering on queen) size bed, recliners, windows facing the street, a nice bathroom, AC/heat, and a flat screen TV. Free wifi, cable, and breakfast (delivered to your door). Parking for $15 a night in the back. And the subways and grocery stores were very close.

All in all, a really nice hotel - especially for the inexpensive price!

Comfortable and cute little hotel located across the street from Barre-UQAM, Montreal's main subway terminal. Ease of transportation was the main reason I chose the hotel - the delivered breakfast (croissants, muffins, fruit, cheese, and yogurt in a little novelty suitcase hung on the door), the quiet atmosphere, and the available parking on the side street were the reasons I'll definitely stay there again next time I'm in town. The snacks (cookies and fruit) the staff put out after 3pm was charming, everyone I talked to was courteous and pleasant, and again, the location can't be beat - walking distance to the Village, Latin Quarter, Old City, etc. From the Subway you get can everywhere else.

We were looking for a room with a jacuzzy as a romantic getaway. This little auberge is perfect for that. The room is spacious and well divided, tv and sofa or tv and bed. The bath is wonderful. Even tought we were in downtown Montreal right on one of the busiest intersection, the room was very quiet and it was at street level. We went back since then. And we will go back again.
