The hotel was centrally located. Could walk to most sites. The rooms were a good value. There was a fair amount of food for breakfast. Water, coffee, tea etc. was available after hours. There was plenty of hot water for everyone to take a shower. The cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly.

Our stay was great, when we checked in we were pleased to have our room upgraded to a suite. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Also very helpful that the staff spoke English as well and made the stay easy and enjoyable.

Venue location is a stone's throw away from China Town and a few blocks away from Note Dame and downtown ocean views. We loved the stay and staff helpfulness and would return. The breakfast options were fair as well, eggs, sausages and various cereals. It gets crowded so get up early and go early.

Firstly this isn't as other reviewers have mentioned a luxury hotel with loads of facilities so if this is what you want then perhaps this isn't the hotel for you. Location is great and extremely good value.

Found the staff extremely efficient and friendly, especially Roberto.

Room was great, so big, with a seperate living room. Showing a little wear and tear (cracks in some of the bathroom tiles) but overall clean and beds were nice and comfortable. If I was to make use of the kitchenette would have to have asked for utensils etc. so be aware you will probably have to do so.

Room didn't have a safe and wasn't told about one (or perhaps I missed it) but think there may be safes for hire or use by the desk. Didn't bother us as I have a case with a combination lock and we were only here for 2 nights.

One thing that surprises me that no-one seems to mention are the 'facilities' at breakfast. Perhaps it is me being too British but thought the plastic utensils and plastic and cardboard cups and plates really let the feel of the place down, felt very cheap and fast foodish.. I can understand why they do it but wasn't for me. Choice was relatively good though and of course this was included in the price. If I had been here longer think I would have eaten breakfast out as the price of the room was fantastic.

So to sum up if you are on a budget and want a clean, comfortable place to stay within a good location then I would highly recommend it.

It is located close to almost all of the places that we wanted to visit in Montreal. It is close to Chinatown, Old Montreal , Notre Dame , Mont Royal Park etc.
However, after check-in, once we got to our room, we were disappointed by the smell coming from the bathroom. There was also a man’s underwear hanging on the doorknob on one of the doors and the bathroom had toilet tissue that wasn’t flushed which means that it has not been cleaned and inspected.
We called housekeeping and a supervisor came to help us move to another room ; gave us 50% discount in parking to compensate us for the inconvenience.
