Out of all the sushi places that I have tried in Montreal, the sushi here tops them all (so far!). The rolls here are HUGE, simple (and not Americanized.. thank god), and the rice is always perfectly cooked. You can easily get super full after only eating 11-12 pieces of sushi, and they have a bunch of other authentic Japanese dishes and cool appetizers to choose from (i like the fried ageshi tofu served in a soup of soya sauce).
Having said that, I must WARN you; however, that the waiting time can be slow or excessively slow depending on when you go, sometimes resulting in poorly made rolls (ex: rice falling apart, or huge rolls with a TINY piece of fish - unfortunately, they only have one chef).. On good days I usually wait around 25 min, but on the weekends (especially Saturday), waiting time can easily slide close to an hour.
So overall, I really like this place and still return to this day, despite the sometimes very long and dreadful waiting time. If you choose to go though, and I strongly recommend it, try to book early or avoid weekends altogether, or else you might be left hungry and disappointed.
