We reserved for a recent Saturday night after not being able to get a reservation here last month. Restaurant was full as expected and very welcoming. The food here is not your typical Italian fare, very interesting Northern regional focus. The Piedmontale wine we had was very good (can't remember the name but it was recommended by the waiter and was relatively cheap). Bread with peppery olive oil was really good. The sauteed vegetable appetizer was the standout dish. Fusili with veal Primo was nice but a little too heavy on the veal component. Quite filling and all you really need. Fish of the day (Med. Sea Bass) was just average, and a bit bland. Some of the other items on the menu sounded quite good. The service was very good, but lacked attention at the end of the meal. Eventually we had to ask them for our bill (which is customary in Italy but less so here). All in all a nice meal but not exceptional, as some of the reviews I had heard about seemed to indicate. Prices are average to high for the quality of the food (approx $25-35) for an entree, $10 for appetizers.

Very good italian food with a large selection of wine. The service was perfect but the reason why I didn't give 5 on service was because of the few refill on water. Overall the place is nice for a great dinner.

The website menu attracted us to come to this restaurant. The menu was a non standard Italian menu with numerous slow food dishes from Piemonte which is my favorite Italian food.
The service was impeccable. Our server had extended knowledge of his wine list, which was impressive if ones appreciate Italain wines.
The antipasto mista were good, would have need some herbs but was very fresh.
The suckling pig was outstanding, the best I had in years, by far superior to the Pied de Cochon. The short ribs in a tomato sauce were also excellent.
The only drawback was a large table of noisy people. There is nothing the restaurant could have done about it.
We will certainly go back and try different dishes. I rate it as one of my of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal.

We visited this restaurant on a Thursday night without a reservation. Although we had to wait for table, the staff was incredibly warm and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable until our table was available. The food was phenomenal. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone, and hope to return soon. A++

Food is good but the menu is small, the chalkboard looked like it was written by kids and the atmosphere is lacking. trying too hard to be hip. The food was good. Hense the 3 stars. Only open 4 days??? Wierd
