The website menu attracted us to come to this restaurant. The menu was a non standard Italian menu with numerous slow food dishes from Piemonte which is my favorite Italian food.
The service was impeccable. Our server had extended knowledge of his wine list, which was impressive if ones appreciate Italain wines.
The antipasto mista were good, would have need some herbs but was very fresh.
The suckling pig was outstanding, the best I had in years, by far superior to the Pied de Cochon. The short ribs in a tomato sauce were also excellent.
The only drawback was a large table of noisy people. There is nothing the restaurant could have done about it.
We will certainly go back and try different dishes. I rate it as one of my of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal.
