“Art created with Flowers”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

These gardens are so much more than flowers. The displays are works of art that astonished me with their attention to detail. Make sure to bring a camera; you won't want to miss out on the dozens of photo opportunities.

“Expensive but worth it”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

This isn't your average botanical gardens! The living sculptures are flat out amazing. You could easy spend most of a day walking through the site. Every time your turn around there's something new to see. The Japanese gardens were great, and don't miss walking through the indoor greenhouses. The new Canadian bird-tree and the Chinese Phoenix are marvelous.

There's also a free shuttle to check out the Biodome and Planetarium. During the summer it runs roughly every 30 minutes with stops near the ticket booth and Insectarium.

“Visit to the Gardens after twenty five years.”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

To start of my vacation we went to these beautiful gardens .I was rather shocked to find out the price of entry 16.00 for residence and 18 for my family visiting a person. But as we strolled and viewed all the beautiful arts and designs ,and flowers ,and vegetables ,the fruit trees and the grounds, no one could complain of the price .It was well worth the money .We were all amazed of the work that went into making this one of beauty .Loved every min, could not walk anymore so had to sit. We didn't make it to see the Chinese lanterns too bad another time. everyone coming to Montreal I think is a must to see the gardens You will remember the beauty the rest of your life.

“Afternoon in the Botanical Gardens”
Reviewed July 17, 2013

I have never seen such an array of beautiful topiaries! Just when you think they cannot top one exhibit you walk around the corner and continue to be wowed by another. The folks who put this exhibit together not only combined a amazing, vast array of flowers which complimented the sculptures, they captured movement of the animals as well. The galloping horses, the birds in flight positioned in the ponds and in other places. Truly magical. Worth the price, and enduring it in the heat. US should take a lesson from this park. They do not sell soda and actually have well prepared, healthy food options.
