My wife and I discovered the restaurant by chance walking in the neighborhood shortly after it opened and it has now become our favorite brunch place in the city.

Owned by a very friendly French couple, the restaurant offer an innovative variety of stuffed waffles including choices like our favorite "Forestière" (prosciutto, cheese and mushrooms) and "Normande" (apple, Brie, honey).

Innovative, casual, friendly, this great little restaurant just off St-Laurent is definitely worth a visit (or several !)

Went to Sun Youth on St-Urbain on a Saturday morning to donate some books and since we were parked in a good spot, we decided to explore the area to find a good breakfast place. Right away I fell in love with Engaufrez-vous, from the old toys decor to the warm welcome of the server at the counter. My husband was in the mood for bacon and eggs but I managed to persuade him to stay thanks to the Grande Roue item on the menu which includes an egg. It also included a green salad with asparagus, delicious fruits, some kind of prune jam, a salty stuffed waffle (your choice, he chose salmon and cream) and a chocolate cookie with ganache on top. Also coffee and freshly squeezed fruit juice. All of this for 14$ and everything was absolutely delicious. I had the "pêche au canard" (duck hunt) plate which included the stuffed waffle (ham and raclette for me), salad, fruits, tea, freshly squeezed red berries juice and instead of a dessert (since I'm hypoglycemic) I had a few slices of cherizo for 0.50$ extra. Not only was it delicious but I was satisfied without feeling "stuffed".

Oh how could I forget about the small Portuguese cheese breads included with each plate? They were so yummy, we bought a bag of it for home!

It seems to be quite the secret place but it is a wonderful place for breakfast. The owners are gracious and friendly, the atmosphere cozy & kid friendly but most of all the food is fresh and amazing! I look forward to my next visit (we were there 2x in 1 wk)!
