We stumbled upon this cafe after a long, hot walk through Mont Royal park and it was the best thing that could have happened to us. The cafe was mercifully air conditioned and decorated to make you feel welcome. The girl who greeted us from behind the counter was so nice and friendly and that set the tone for the rest of our time there. The food was light and fresh: wraps, fresh fruits and salads. We were on our first visit to Montreal and we were asking about possible theater events. When the "counter girl" couldn't remember if there were any current shows, she got on the phone and started calling places for us! The other patrons at the cafe, who were regulars, joined in and began telling us where to go and what to see from the eyes of a native "Montrealer". Our lunch at this cafe was one of the highlights of our visit.
