“Almost perfect experience”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

What a wonderful restaurant, we had an almost perfect experience, except for an error in our order, whiche was corrected with us not paying for the wrongly served plate, beautiful service, exquisite food, really, it had been a long time since I had anything as good. Go !!!

“Food gave us a mood”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Was highly recommended but don't waste your time. Overpriced, poor service, and not accommodating. Also since when is an Asian restaurant serves tapas?!?!?!?

“Wow”

The food is fresh and changes often. I don't know if the fact that the chef is Japanese but attention to details is spot on. Always a pleasure to go there.

“Fun and Lively”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

We ate at Le Filet on our last night in Montreal due to a recommendation of a local. It was some of the best food we've had. We let our server decide our courses and tell us what is the best and freshest now. Had the oysters, which were amazing. Wanted to order another round. The smoke mackral was amazing too. Every dish we had we licked the plate clean.

By the way, yes, the restaurant is very noisy! Just go with the flow and enjoy some of the best food in Montreal.

“Kinda pricey”
Reviewed August 19, 2013

While I enjoyed the food I thought it was overpriced. The soups and salmon were delicious and wonderfully prepared. However, the waiter gave me some attitude when I said we didn’t want to do the chef's tasting, making the ordering process somewhat unpleasant. He was concerned that we weren't ordering appropriately for sharing, which is the point of the restaurant. It's like high-end tapas. Still, we should be able to order the ones we like, correct?
