Great location for visitors to 'old' Montreal, great staff and lots of space in traditional setting and heard great things about restaurant, but it was the coldest day of the year and I fell ill but the hotel allowed me to have extended stay. Much appreciated!

We have stayed at Le Saint-Sulpice for a weekend every January for the past six years. The winter rates are very attractive for the accomodations provided -- every room a suite. For anyone interested in Old Montreal, the location cannot be improved upon. The service, with only very minor exceptions, is excellent, and the personnel at the front desk -- both receptionists and concierges -- is uniformly friendly and helpful. But what was clearly five stars six years ago is fraying a bit at some edges. Our furniture this year looked very much used, for example. We hope that this is all attended to as part of normal upkeep, for the hotel has been wonderful for us.

Le St-Sulpice is a lovely boutique hotel in a historic location just behind Notre-Dame in old Montréal. The charming old building has been lovingly restored and all the rooms are suites, perfect for longer-term stays with the extras of a range top, microwave and fridge. The hotel has a fine restaurant, but there are so many first class eateries within easy walking distance, gourmands will have more dining options than they can choose from. The suite was quiet and comfortable and the staff was very attentive and professional.

This hotel was everything we wanted and more! We went in Janurary when the temps were very cold-this hotel was in a very central location and we could get to all the sites and restaurants quickly. The rooms were large and comfortable and we had complimentary bottles of water delivered every night. We spent time much time relaxing in the beautiful bar area enjoying the fireplace and cocktails. The only downside was that the beds are very firm, however they are great if you like that-my husband loved the firm mattress! We would recommend this hotel to anyone and will definately be staying here next time we visit-in the summer next time!

Room Tip: Recommend a room with a fireplace if you go in the winter.
