That was my best experience in Montreal! Gorgeous hotel, very elegant rooms and adorable staff. Ideal location for jazzfest and major attractions in the city. Check their website, they have plenty of specials and packages at affordable rates.

The main quality of this hotel is its location, right down the old part... perfect. The hotel itself is expensive for what it gets, the lobby is plain and boring, the reception staff are effective .The room was clean, bed comfy (queen) bathroom clean with a shower tub....the decoration plain white, cold with no style....it is overprice,no free wifi!!! (we are in 2012 guys wake up!) the breakfast not even included ? for what they offer ( small no choice ) it was disappointed... you can get way better for the price they ask...

The hotel is fine. In fact it is lovely when compared to the chain hotels. The problem is that it doesn't measure up as far as boutique hotels are concerned and in particular, for its price point. The finishings are a little cheap; the rooms are small; and the usual 'extras' traditionally associated with boutique hotels are not included. It does not give you the cozy feeling that you look for when away from home. In fact, I didn't even unpack my case for the 3 nights I was there. It is in a great (and trendy) location with fantastic food choices nearby. However, the hotel seems to be run more like a large chain than a small independent hotel. I checked in late and when I rang the next day to ask for information about the services, the desk staff laughed when I asked if there was a continental breakfast and an internet password. They could overcome the small rooms and average design with small amenities like free internet, a small continental breakfast. I will say though, the beds are delightful and the chocolate with a weather update is sweet. I would stay here again if nothing else was available- but for the price there are much better choices around the corner or up the street. Stay up the street and come down here for dinner and drinks.

It was my first stay at the St Paul Hotel. Regularly on business trips here, I know the city and the hotels very well. But what a surprise! Everything went prefectly well. The room was SO nice. elegant design & decoration, comfortable king bed, nice view.. I stayed 3 nights and had manage to catch cabs, directions, get to the airport for my flight. the front desk was adorable and pro active. Their lobby on the second floor, I beleive its called the Attrium, is perfect if you need to sit for appointements; very quiet, comfortable and very chic. Definitely staying there next time.

Room Tip: great location, friendly staff, Old Montreal :)

Great service with friendly staff who accommodate every request. Rooms are decorated in a minimalist style without being cluttered. The restuarant is very good with great service and fun staff. Location is perfect for exploring the Old Town.

Would I stay here again? Definitely.
