My husband and I booked in at Bota Bota on a recent visit to Montreal. We went on a Saturday night and although there were many people in the change rooms, the entire facility was pleasantly quiet and calm. He had a deep tissue massage and I had the age interceptor facial. Both were excellent with the technicians being very professional and having the right amount of interaction during these very relaxing treatments. After the treatments, we enjoyed the 'water treatment' part of Bota Bota. This includes steam sauna, dry sauna, hot pool, cold pool and a variety of quiet and silent spaces to relax. We loved the outdoor hot pool overlooking old Montreal and the dry sauna had a similar vista. A short relax in a hammock and we were rejuvenated and ready to hit the site of Montreal once more. The price seemed about average for massage and facials and the water treatment is an extra charge, but absolutely part of the experience here. I understand this to be part of a 'Spa Nordique' trend in Montreal and it is definitely worth a visit.
