“A Montreal Must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2012

Recently spent a few days in Montreal with the kids and on our first day we rented these bikes (discovered Dyad on Tripadvisor). We ended up keeping the bikes for 3 days. We had an absolute blast and definitely saw more of the city than if we would have been on foot. At first we were a little nervous about where to park, traffic laws, etc. But as it turned out, we just basically followed what all the (many) bicyclers did. And it's worthwhile to note that never once did we get honked at or tooted at because of our driving skills (and am sure there was a time or two we deserved it). The Montreal drivers must be very nice! The kids LOVED the bikes and they both voted the Dyads their favorite part of our vacation. We got a lot of fun looks by others and were asked repeatedly where to rent. Simple, easy, affordable and loads of fun. The owners are wonderful! A quick shutout to the Hilton Bonaventure valet staff who happily stored our bikes at night in the luggage room.

“Great way to explore Montreal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 12, 2012

Our tour was given by Joelle. She customized the tour to what we had wanted to see, It was the best part of our trip. We were shown places for us to follow up on that we were interested and they were very flexible with timings. Also we never rode on the electric scooters before, so they were accommodating with that by starting slower and taking us down streets that weren't busy but by the end we were going full speed (30 km) down roads with other cars!! Best way to see Montreal!!!

“Best way to see Montreal”

We had a great experience at DYAD. We just walked in and was greeted by friendly service. The rental process was simple and inexpensive. We rented a scooter for 80$ for 48 hours. The scooters are really great quality and came with awesome helmets. It was a really great way to explore the city freely.

“Highlight of my trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 27, 2012

This was the best tour I've ever been on. Joelle was our guide and she showed us everything we wanted to see plus more. There is no way I would've found all the trendy neighbourhoods without her guidance. There were many excellent shopping streets and good restaurants that she highlighted on our tourist map so we could check them out later. For this reason, I suggest taking this tour before exploring downtown, Old Port, and Old Montreal. On our tour we also stopped off at an ice cream store where she treated us to ice cream and the market where she bought us fruit. Unfortunately, I lost the keys to my e-scooter sometime while we were walking in the market. Thankfully Joelle remained very optimistic about it and I doubled with her on the way back which was just as fun. Next time I go to Montreal I will definitely drop by and rent an electric scooter. They are cute, easy to ride, environmentally-friendly, and you can zip in-between cars during traffic - perfect!

“Friendly & knowledgeable staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 18, 2012

We made a reservation for 3:30 and even though we got there early, the e-scooters were ready, a nice purple and green one. I brought my own helmet but they had plenty of helmets to lend out to us. We rode the e-scooters around and when we hit a street fair on St-Laurent & Mont Royal, we just pushed the scooter along to check it out.

Driving the Dyad scooter is fun and easy to park anywhere. Very convenient for shopping around the Plateau area!
