I have visited this location many times, and I think today's Americana Pizza and Caesar Salad was the best ever, and I have always found the pizza to be excellent.

The restaurant looks like an old fashioned diner from both the outside and the inside. It is immaculate and well air-conditioned, which is very nice on a hot and humid day like today. The staff are friendly and efficient and you will not find cleaner washrooms anywhere in the province.

Everyone needs to experience the food, service and ambiance at this location. You will not be disappointed.

Food
The pizzas were good, the pasta was OK. They ran out of bread.

Service
We waited an hour for food on a quiet night with no great demand on the kitchen. Our waiter likely forgot to put in our order. The manager comped dessert.

Verdict
Good pizza, but there are other restaurants in Montreal that provide an equal if not better overall experience.

First time stop at this tiny but oh what succulent restaurant. Simple menu yet great serving on size and taste, serves locally brewed beers and others. And check out the cheese cake AND the chocolat mi-cuit !

The only reason this outgoing didn't get a perfect mark was its service. A perfect definition of what not to do if you want to keep customers.

I mean we were greeted by what it seemed the most experiences waitress but oh what a rude person. And then served by the new guy. I'm always a good sport when it comes of giving a new person at the job his chance, buy He should make an effort in knowing what he has on the menu. What sadden me is he was left all to him self when he should have been coached more closely.

Beyond the bad service and being ignored by the waitress, great place to try out !

First had La Pizzaiolle's groundbreaking thin-crust wood-oven-baked artisanal pizzas at their flagship Outremont location about 30 years. Sadly, that elegant relaxed space is gone, the menu is slimmed down (my beloved baby clams pizza is no longer offered!) and there are now many restaurants across N America where you can find thin crust pizza with interesting toppings; still, La Pizzaiolle remains a treat- great pizza, nice selection of beers on tap and interesting deserts (although the tiramisu, served in a glass cup, was more like a sundae than a piece of cake, and quite disappointing). This restaurant is not cheap: a pizza, beer and desert will run you about $40 with tip; but if you're prepared for that, you'll probably find it fair value.

Thank you Frank,
We're always pleased to hear from a long-time fan ;) You're right: some things have changed, but we still pride ourselves in serving a top quality authentic thin-crust pizza. Thanks for coming back... We really appreciate your business!
