Owner description: A trendy upscale street with plenty of shops and restaurants.

A beautiful street offering a sample of everything Montreal has to offer. However, the garbage on the street certainly takes away from the atmosphere. Must be a Montreal mindset that it's OK to litter. Old Montreal and St. Catherines have people picking up garbage, why not on St. Denis?

The section in the Latin Quarter is crowded, noisy and colorful, with restaurants, bistros and the like lined up one after the other for blocks. Great for people-watching. Single best sight: a bar with the name Le Sainte Ciboire (The Holy Ciborium), the last two words a colorful swear expression in Québécois French!

Nice architecture, charming cafes and restaurants, attractive shops and many things that tourists enjoy experiencing during their visit to a city.
