See it in the daytime with the light is shining through the stained glass and you'll feel as if you stepped into a jewel box or kaleidoscope. The gently sloped floor allows everyone an excellent view even seated.

I loved being able to see the architecture and everything inside of this church. You should note that it costs $5 per person to go inside, more if you do the guided tour. Everything is goegeous and so much to see that you cannot capture it all in one picture. Dont forget that there is a chapel behind the main building that is also very pretty. When you are in the main sanctuary towards the front, look to the back of the church on the second floor and see the huge organ that has over 7000 pipes! Amazing!

Always visit this beautiful basilica when in the area. I've never taken the tour, but will drop by to light a candle and enjoy the atmosphere for a few minutes

It is rare to find a cathedral in North America that is as beautiful and ornate as those in Europe. The detail work is marvellous, and the stain glass windows depicting the church's history are not to be missed.

From the outside Notre-Dame doesn't look like much. It may be nicer from the inside, but the cost to get in is $5.00 and by principle I don't pay to get in a CHURCH. I don't think that God would approve of charging to get in His house. When the lady at the front door told the cost is $5.00 (when she saw me trying to look around the partition to see what the inside looked like), I shook my head and she responded (in French) it was for heating and upkeep. Isn't that what the tithes and offerings of those belonging to the church is for? Maybe that explains why so few people actually go to church. I would pass on this one for sure.
