The concierge, special lounge concierge) upstairs was spectacular. from the accommodation to the service and employee attentions and pampering was just what I expected and Marriott here is doing great job when it comes to making you feel pampered and taken care off.

A great city center Marriott, positioned in a great location in Montreal. Refined common areas, guest rooms. Good food and polished service.

Room and bed were very comfortable. Nice showers, great water pressure! Convenient location. Metro station access below hotel, could hop around the town easily. Quick walk up Rue Peel to shopping, restaurants and clubs of downtown.

The Marriott Chateau Champlain was an excellent hotel! When we checked in we received a renovated room on the 14th floor an amazing view, although we had booked a Standard room. The renovated rooms were spacious, nicely decorated and had a huge window which almost stretched from the floor to the ceilling overlooking a park and Montreal. There was a little hallway which also served as a walk-in closet that lead to the new marble bathroom.

The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful.

The hotel is located right by the business district in walking distance to Old Montreal, the Old Port, Mont Royal, Chinatown, the Latin Quarter and most other attractions. There is also a Metro stop in the basement of the hotel.

The hotel offers breakfast at $24 a person at the restaurant on premise, but my tip is to try one of the Cafes also located in the hotel. Walking down the lobby, you pass a Starbucks, gift shop, several boutiques and a business center (all part of the hotel) and you reach 2 breakfast cafes. For $5 a person we enjoyed an amazing breakfast including coffee and the staff was very friendly.

If I ever go back to Montreal, I will definitly stay at the Marriott Montreal Chateau Champlain again and would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room Tip: If available ask for a renovated room with a parkw

Located in the heart of downtown Montreal, this hotel is very nice with a very accomodating staff. Jose is the Libation Dispenser at the Bar & Restaurant and he makes it a relaxing and enjoyable time. Try the Penne Rigate at the bar with a Blanche de Chambly Biere. A very good wheat beer!

Jose can suggest a very good wine if you prefer!
