Came here for a four day getaway. Great location for visits to old montreal. Banks, cafés, everything you need is literally outside the hotel. The staff is very knowledgable and super helpful in showing you how to get wherever you need to go. The room was clean and had a kitchen if needed in the room. Parking was a block and a half away and cost $20 a day. We walked all over town in every direction and noticed no sketchy neighborhoods. I'm sure there are but our safety was never a concern. The only reason it's not a perfect score was the bed. As a taller than average (6-2) fella, the bed was too small and pretty uncomfortable. It's a small gripe. We managed just fine. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly come back. Thanks to you guys and your hotel for giving us yanks a great stay!

Thanks for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. We apprecIate your kind words and are pleased that you had a memorable stay. Glad that you took advantage of our perfect downtown location do discover our dynamic city. Our standard and smaller studios have a double bed but all of the larger studios and superior rooms have queen size beds......more comfortable for a taller individual. You are welcome anytime......hope to see again soon.

For a value hotel, for the solo traveller, this is outstanding. Only potential downside is the neighbourhood is a little seedy if you head in the wrong direction and there is an 'adult novelty shop' next door. Didn't bother me personally but something to be mindful of - maybe not a family location!

Excellent facilities for the price and courteous, helpful and knowledgeable staff make all the difference.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back away from street noise

We stayed here for eight nights. The hotel was super clean and provided adequate amenities. It was very warm even in the coldest of winter. The location is absolutely perfect for tourists. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and courteous. They listened to what we were looking for in our stay and catered their advice to us. We stayed on the top floor in a budget room with a shared bathroom and it was never a problem with occupancy or cleanliness.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights (December 2013) and we were thoroughly pleased by the location, the service and the rooms. To begin with, Carole, the receptionist, was very sweet and helpful and she kept suggesting places for us to visit and restaurants to eat at. The rooms are extremely clean and had all the basic amenities( the heaters were very efficient). The bathroom is well stocked too. The hotel is located on Set- Catherine street, one of the main streets in Montreal and is very centrally located. Overall, a pleasant experience and stay and very easy on the wallet.

I have stayed at this hotel more than once. The first time I heard of this hotel was from a friend of mine who highly recommended it. When it comes to hotels I am not very picky but there are quiet a few factors that have to be considered. Proximity to food, proximity to nightlife, price, and convenience.
The second time I used this hotel was for a friends Bachelor Party. When it comes to food there is a La Belle Province just around the corner, a St Hubert down the street, a Baton Rouge close by and an Eggspectations just a few minutes away. There is a mall close by as we also bought food to cook in the rooms which has a grocery, liquor store etc.

When it comes to nightlife you are in the middle of it. There are bars and after hour clubs all over the place and nightclubs within walking distance. The area is very busy with pedestrians so people watching is also fun.

Price? Nothing can beat there price. It is crazy cheap. Is it 5 star quality? No, but the rooms are clean and well organized. There is a side entrance which gives access to rooms a couple floors up. There is only 4 rooms that access this entrance so booking them all would mean that you have the entrance for your self. (If you are booing for a large group) There are plenty of other rooms to use but I like the one with a private entrance.

The staff was very easy going. Could not have asked for anything more. I love staying at this location. It might be a little rowdy for children but when I go to Montreal with my friends I always stay there.

Room Tip: There is a section of the hotel that has a private entrance and access to 4 rooms. If you need 4 rooms and dont mind stairs ask about these rooms.

I am pleased that you had a great weekend in one of our studio apartments in the hotel annex. As you are aware, we have a variety of room types depending upon the needs of our clients. We are glad that you appreciated the great value of our establishment as well as our prime location in the heart of the entertainment district. We appreciate your loyalty.....till next time.
