The owner and Luc made our trip just perfect. Wonderful rooms, comfortable beds, splendid breakfast. Assistance with restaurant reservations and travel arrangements just right. Small and quiet--can't say too many good things

My husband and I stayed here recently and loved it! We had planned a trip here last year and I fell and broke my ankle just four days before we were supposed to go. We should have forfeited our deposit, but the owner very generously gave us a gift certificate to come at another time. A year later we finally arrived and I'm so happy we did! Everything was perfect, the room was beautiful, the breakfasts outstanding and the location was right in the middle of Old Town. We could walk to everything. Definitely would stay again.

We stayed in room 202 which was spacious. The breakfast is to die for. You are walking distance from everything, even downtown. The staff is very accomodating. We were running a race and were going to miss breakfast, but we made it back just in time and they happily served us long after everyone else had eaten. My only complaint was that the a/c had been turned off for the season. It was too warm in our room and opening the windows would've helped, but it was too noisy to leave them open on Fri and Sat night. We called several times about this and they were very nice, but just couldn't turn it back on for some reason. I look forward to going back!

Room Tip: 202 was quite large and very comfortable.

My husband and I stayed there for two nights last week and had a great experience. The location is very convenient and close to not only tourist locations but lots of restaurants all in walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful in assisting us to plan our days while there. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and we very much enjoyed the breakfast each morning along with the other guests that we met.

This is a great little hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Well appointed and a great location. The staff was so nice to us and very helpful. The breakfast was out of this world good! We had omelettes. We only stayed one night then went to Quebec city. We returned to Montreal for our last two nights of our trip and stayed at another hotel. Boy, were we sorry! We would highly recommend the Sans Soucy! Thanks Luc!!!!

Room Tip: #104 or 204 have a great view of the Notre Dame!

We recently stayed at the Sans Soucy during a 3 night visit to Montreal. Everything was excellent. The room (104) was clean, roomy, and had the quietest air conditioning I've ever experienced. Breakfast was excellent, the croissants are to die for, and the omelets and French toast were wonderful. The staff was very helpful. The location was great. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved everything about the Le Passants. Daniel was a wonderful host. He worked with us to accommodate our needs over 3 days. We needed a room for 3 people, and he helped squeeze us in as plans kept changing.

We stayed in room 101 and 201, and both were very nice. Its little noisy in the morning when the street cleaners, window washers, etc are working. But not really an issue.

We loved the breakfast in the morning. You should make sure you try the french toast.

The good
- service
- location in old Montreal near everything since its on Rue Saint Paul
- size of hotel (only 10 rooms)

We walked from the train station to hotel when we arrived. It was about a 15 minute walk with luggage. We took a cab on the return for $7.50 + tip

Room Tip: Choose an upper floor room so you don't hear people above you
