“Saw Montreal Canadiennes”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

Had a great time at the Bell Centre seeing Montreal vs.Buffalo last weekend-had never been to a hockey game or the Bell Centre-I don't understand the negative reviews-most big arenas are the same-small seats higher priced beers etc-and most people already know this!-we went to experience the atmosphere of a canadian hockey game and were definitely not disappointed!-I can't wait to see another one!-I thought the centre was very nice-easy to get in-2 blocks from our hotel and easy to get out when the game was over -one thing I really enjoyed was reading all the history-of the hockey players from the past-there were many pictures/ memorials etc in the main hallways to read all about them and the history of the Montreal Canadiennes.I highly reccommend seeing a game here-and will definitely do so again next time in Montrea!

Small, compressed hallways, dingy, grimy...small seats. Would hate to be there if something were to happen. The crowd was way to large for it to be safe. Very disappointed my Habs are housed in such a garbage arena.

“Love the Habs, not the arena!”
Reviewed November 28, 2013

First time ever visiting the arena. It seems like it was built on too small of a piece of property. The attached bar and gift shop seem small and way too packed on game nights. The seats(I was in the 400 level) were small and you were definitely forced to be chummy with your rowmates due to the smaller seats. The sightlines were awesome though, no obstructed views at all. The concourses during intermission filled up badly and again because it was built on a small chunk of land it seems they had to skimp on the width of the concourses. You were constantly elbowing and the "excuse me, coming through!" statements were non stop. You were constantly being barked at by credit card salesman, fan club signups, beer salesman(15 bucks for a 28oz beer and 4.50 for a hot dog the size of your pinky finger, really? 20 bucks for a beer and hot dog??!!). It pains me to see my favourite beloved team playing in a crammed in arena.

“For little people only”
Reviewed November 17, 2013

Not only is this the most taxed sports arena in the world by the greedy city of Montreal. Its also probably the smallest in space outside of the arena itself. Its so narrow that between hockey periods there is no room to move. Very poorly designed. I guess its all about money. Cram as many people in there as possible. I would hate to see an emergency in there!!!

“Canadiens hockey”
Reviewed November 13, 2013

Check out the Canadiens website or their season ticket reseller website and you might be surprised to find reasonably priced tickets - I know I was. The building is very nice and celebrates the storied history of the Canadiens. There is a Canadiens Hall of Fame onsite as well, which is worthwhile for the die-hard fan.
