Owner description: Quality English-language theater productions are regularly scheduled at this theater, located in the Old Stock Exchange building.

We were staying at the Auberge Bonaparte as we have on a number of occasions. We have always noticed this English language theatre next door but it has never been the right time to see anything. On this occasion it worked out that we were able to go and see 'An Afternoon in the Country'. The theatre itself is very intimate with no poor seating and the play was excellent. Montrealers are very fortunate to have this quality of theatre. Prices were very reasonable.

Once a stock exchange, now a theater. Has a great selection of plays. Eat at Restaurant Bonaparte on the same street, before or after and have a great night. That street is good to park in busy old Montreal.

I don't remember what is the name of the play but walking into the theater the smell of the wood furniture reminded me my childhood... as in an old school . Lots of souvenirs and memories added to the charm of the play!

Beautiful venue and I've enjoyed every play I ever saw there (at least 5) immensely. The best was this past winter's anti-Christmas-holiday-spirit extravaganza (not its real name but it was sort of described that way) that takes place every year.. not to be missed!
