On a warm, sunny summer day, a return trip aboard the Montreal-Longueuil ferry will feel like a day cruise. Try a late afternoon departure and sit on the deck with your camera and sunglasses. The river breeze is a treat on a hot day. The ferry boat will make one stop at Île Sainte-Hélène (worth a stop over -- see Beach, Bike and Gardens review) and offer amazing views of Old Montreal landmarks, the Jacques-Cartier bridge and the islands. That is a great way to experience the Saint-Lawrence river. When you get to Longueuil, you may get off and go for refreshments at the marina, or alternatively, stay on board to prolong the pleasure! Kids, grand-parents, young couples will enjoy the adventure, the romance and the views.

The people, vendors and almost everyone you meet, are friendly and treat everyone as if they're really happy to see them. So many this to do and see make sure you get there early because it takes a whole day to see it all.

the place is more inspired by Europe! and the location is naturally beautiful. I love to stand by the river for hours, breathe taking and if you move towards the grounds, you will enjoy the mini- shows by locals!
Its ideal for an romantic evening, with friends you will have fun , and kids they love it too..
so you be anybody , you gonna love it, every time you visit!

nice little ferry trip to the other side of the island; not expensive. If you want to go across on a nice day without driving it is a nice thing to do.

If you have ever wondered what life was like back in the days of Canada's infancy, Old Montreal is the place you absolutely must see. The architecture and old-world charm has been maintained to perfection. Take a caleche ride to experience it all.
