“the political crisis”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

we visited the City Hall as the mayor resigned. We were so sad for him. The place was full of people and journalists. Wow: what a nice building and it seems to be buzy.

“historical”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

The inside, particularly in the council chamber and its stained glass windows, you get the background and history of Montreal.

“Beware of Parking Tickets in Montreal”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

If you try to park in downtown Montreal and you see a blue post with numbers on it, you need to look around and find a EZ paybox, either on the same street or across the street. You will need to deposit your parking money and enter the number off the blue pole where you have parked. If you don't do this, it could cost you $52.

There are no signs advising where to deposit your money.

“Wrong picture, but good 19th century architecture”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

Although architecturally interesting, the city hall is noted for nothing except higher taxes, secretive city management, and Charles de Gaulle's famous( or infamous depending on your point of view) 'vive le Quebec libre' proclamation.,
