I was in Montreal with two relatives for a family funeral. I booked here because we could get a small suite, and have enough space for everyone to have their own beds. I was pleased. The rooms are basic, and dated, but extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable - even the rollaway cot. The staff was very friendly, and bilingual too. Breakfast was standard, but well maintained, always fresh coffee on hand. The location is very handy to get around the city. We didn't have a car, so I don't know about parking. One of the elevators was under repair, and waiting was slow, but that was ok. I always enjoy having a small kitchenette in a room if I'm staying more than one night - got to stash the wine and yogurt. We faced off of Sherbrooke street, and had a view up to Mount Royal. Overall, I was pleased with our choice, especially at the price to be right in the heart of the city. I'd love to come back with my kids and use it as a home base.

We arrived earlier and we were able to check-in without problems.

They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite which was very comfortable, without any request. A lot of space and windows. Everything was there for a very comfortable stay.

The location is fantastic. You can walk to the Old Port area, MacGill University (please visit the Redpath Museum. You and the kids will have a lot of fun. It is small but allocate at least half a day a lot to see and read. We went twice.) and Chinatown. You have a Tim Horton and a Lebanese place (recommended) which has good food two blocks away. Some other cafés are close by.

The kitchen has all you need and it is a grocery store just a block away from the hotel if you need to buy anything. The swimming pool on the top floor was a hit with the kids, plus the view is great.

This will be our home every time that we visit Montreal. looking for an excuse to come back soon.

We stayed for two nights (March 27-29), and had a standard room on the 14th floor. The good things about this hotel: the location, the complimentary breakfast (though there's not much protein) and the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. The amenities are fine, including the pool, gym and dining area. The rooms are quite dated, but clean. One of the two elevators was being replaced, so there were line-ups during peak hours, but hopefully the maintenance will be completed soon. Our biggest complaint is that the hotel is quite dated, and could really use some modernizing, especially the bathrooms and kitchenettes. Otherwise, an enjoyable stay.

Great value. I would definitely stay at the hotel again!

Pros- kitchen, big rooms, great breakfast, wonderful location, friendly staff

Con-no valet, extremely extremely extremely difficult to get mid size car out of the narrow parking garage.

Stayed at the hotel for 4 days and had a nice, big room with a free upgrade at check-in. It was plenty of room for 3 people with a living room, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room. The hotel is super affordable and a great price for the room. The staff was friendly the whole time and always helped when we had questions. There was a simple continental breakfast with mostly cold items and bagels. The hotel was clean and it's in a good location, close to everything. Would definitely go back
