Thankfully only stayed here for one night. The lobby area & lounge have obviously recently been updated so we were quite hopeful that our room would be equally as nice. Nope,we had room 1215 and we spoke to some people who were in 1015 and rooms with a '15 or 14' are sandwiched in by the elevators and are very small with a strange long bathroom to the side. The rooms have a nice modern flat screen tv but the decor is very dated but I would say the room was at least clean. Though if you look at the floor plans some of the rooms on each floor are obviously a much better size.

We stayed here with Titan on a one night tour stop over so perhaps these rooms are used for tour companies, but it wasn't up to the standard I expect when I stay at a Best Western. It did have free wifi if you asked for the code at reception.

The hotels plus is it's location only 2 blocks from the metro/underground system and an easy 5 minute walk to restaurants & bars.

Room Tip: Don't have a room with a 14 or 15 it'll be small with no view

The hotel is in excellent central location. The rooms are renovated and very clean. The service was great, I just wish there were cheaper parking options (valet 25$). Overall a great hotel, will recommend it to friends and family.

The Hotel is nice and clean. The only problem is that the a 4 star hotel should also include breakfast in the price. This hotel also does not give you a reasonable rate for the parking. It charges 25 $ per night, however, just across the street you find cheaper public parking. It is not that close to city center as you expect. If you want to see old Montreal I suggest somewhere else. If you have a car I think you can look for another place a bit far but you pay very much less per night.
This Hotel seems to be good for those who have a work in Mac Gill University.

We liked the central location of the hotel, but did not enjoy having to change room late at night due to unavailability of a working wifi connection. In general, we found the place in need of a face lift.

We did a 12 day vacation in Montreal and Quebec with our three kids. We were looking for a hotel in Montreal that was reasonably central to the things we'd want to do and see, had rooms big enough for us to stay in one room, and was clean/well maintained/etc. The Ville Marie turned out to be perfect for us. The location is unbeatable - right in the center of town, two blocks from the main entrance to Parc Mont Royal, and one block from the Metro. We could get anywhere without our car. We had a nice big room with two queen beds and plenty of room for the cot. The beds were fine, the room was clean, the hotel was well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only problem we had was poor wifi signal in our room, but the wifi was free and worked fine in the lobby, so not really a major issue. I would stay again.
