“One of the best places to stay in Montreal!”

We have stayed numerous times at this location. Its a great location just off busy St Catherine St. The AMC 22 is just a few feet away. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I used to travel for business and I like the apartment like feel (kitchen/lving room/bedroom) much nicer than the usual hotel room.

My two teenage sons and I wanted to stay in one room so this hotel offered a one bedroom suite with a sofa bed in the living room. The room was clean, and functional but old and worn looking. There was no TV in the bedroom and the one in the Living room was a 21" tube model but it worked. The kitchen and bathroom were likewise.
The location was fine. Two blocks from a Mall, Cinema, St. Catherine and a Metro stop. Once the weather improved we took used the Bixi bikes rentals to get around town and it was great.
I wouldn't bring my wife and younger daughter here but for me and my boys it was fine.

Room Tip: The rooms at the back of the hotel have terraces

The three of us checked in for one night and that was already too much even before we got to the room.
The room's floor had sticky areas, dirty bathtub, some of the lamps did not work, the TV in the bedroom did not work. Very limited parking and none available for us.
If we had not be charged at check-in (as opposed to at check-out) we would have left and gone to another hotel room. But we stayed anyway knowing it was only for one night.
We checked out the pool - very small. We checked out the exercise room - saw spider webs on the machines.
There were sketchy people staying there. The next morning, I could clearly hear the guests in the next room. And I woke up with a sore throat!
We left as soon as we could. The front desk woman didn't even ask how our stay was. Nobody cares in this place.
We will never, ever stay at this filthy, unkempt hotel again! STAY AWAY!

We stayed at this hotel a few times, not by choice. You can't open the windows or the balcony doors because the smell of drugs is SO strong. There are vagrants all over the place and garbage strewn everywhere.
Staff are rude and uninterested; they are bothered if you have any questions or requests.
The entire building stinks. The carpets are worn, the paint is peeling off in huge pieces and on the weekend, hookers wander the halls.
To add to all of this, people would bang on our door at all hours at night.
The pictures they show of this hotel always have lights on so you can't see how filthy it is.
NEVER AGAIN!!
I regret not taking any photos to show you what it's really like!

Stayed one night with spouse and teenaged son, so liked the fact that it was apartment style and son had a separate room. The location was very convenient. and there were lots of interesting restaurants near by on Ste. Catherine St. My only complaint is with the service. The TV remote control was not working - it needed new batteries. We asked the front desk to fix it and they promised to send someone with batteries, but they never materialized.

We were very happy with our room. It was very clean and the kitchenette was well stocked with all the basics. The bed and bedding was comfortable and the studio room was spacious. The toiletries were simple but very adequate. The appliances all worked nicley except for the bathroom fan.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway and the supermarket and restaurants. The area is not upscale and a few of the surrounding blocks are a bit run-down, but we didn't ever feel unsafe because we stayed aware of our surroundings. The main street - St. Catherines is a block away and the Atwater Market is in walking distance.

There is a breakfast room in the hotel which serves a buffet breakfast for an additional 7.99, with coffee, juice, cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs and bacon or sausage and toast. It isn't gourmet but it works if needed. The lobby is unimpressive but it provides a comfortable waiting area and it is well looked after.

We did not receive any maid service for the first three days of our stay. Nobody removed the garbage or made our bed. We eventually complained at the front desk and we received service every day from then on, although the coffee and the powdered milk supply was never refilled. The staff at the front desk were very pleasant and gave us directions when we asked for them. They very kindly agreed to store our luggage after we checked out at noon because our flight wasn't until the evening.

All in all, we were very satisfied with our stay and we would definitely go back,
