We spent a couple days in Montreal biking their pathways. Totally bike friendly city! The Lachine Canal was especially gorgeous...about 15 miles out and back. Beautiful scenery along the way. We grabbed a bike map from one of the many info sites along the trails and, once we were done with the Lachine, biked into Old Montreal, stopping at the Atwater Market just off the path. Came back along the Aqueduct; and did another ride further south along the St Laurent. paths are completely removed from all traffic, and the drivers always seemed to defer to bikes when we had to cross roads. We did a total of 65 miles in 2 days but it was so easy it seemed like a whole lot less. Undoubtedly the best rides we'ver ever done!
