“Best view of Montreal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

This is the best view of Montreal. overlooking downtown Montreal this location has a superb view, especially at sunset. if you visit, you will most probably will notice photographers taking photos of Montreal downtown. For couples this location is very romantic and you can easily find a private secluded niche in the surrounding woods of the mount royal park (;

We walk from Sofitel and arrive to chalet and then the overlooks and go down to Duluth.
Views are terrific but it was 2 weeks after snow disappear and so all the trash let by the people were here...So it underartes our impression

“Don't Bike up in the heat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 13, 2013

We rented Bixi Bikes at the Old Port and rode up to Mont Royal. For a few reasons this wasn't a good idea. It was 25 degrees and it is a very long and winding dirt road that goes up to Mont Royal. Biking up wasn't fun. It would be better to drive up and then just do the short walk to get a view. The other reason this wasn't a good idea was that Bixi Bikes advertise that it's $7 for 24 hours for non-members. This is highly deceptive as we got a $74 bill for using 2 bikes for 5 hours. Apparently only the first half hour is $7, then they starting tacking on additional and increasing charges from then on. It was still fun to have the bikes, just know what you are getting into.

“Great City Views of Montreal”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2013

Wear your walking shoes and comfortable clothes, this is a long walk up the Mont Royal but worth it. Very pretty tree-lined walk to the top with beautiful views of Montreal. Note there is no restauant at the top, simply drink Machines, no picnics or barbeques allowed in this park. Should take about 1 hr to get from the park to the top, ambling along.
