Maybe we've been spoiled by other Six Flags parks, but this one just didn't measure up. Lines are a part of a day at an amusement park, but not having wait times on the app makes them hard to avoid (like I said we're spoiled). But more than that th ed park is old and it looks old. It's not a good sign when the wooden rollercoaster looks like it's in the best shape of them all. Fun day for the kids if you can stand the wait times.

I've been to many great theme parks so my expectations are probably higher than most, but I have to say I went into my day at La Ronde with lowered expectations and I was still disappointed. The park desperately needs a face lift in many ways. Many of the rides are very out dated, paint is peeling, things look and feel run down everywhere you turn.

Worst of all, we arrived for opening, and at rope drop we went to our first ride, and it wasn't opened yet. In fact, it appeared none of the rides were open. No staff were around to give direction, everyone just waited around until the rides seemed to randomly start running, 10-20 min after opening. Felt very disorganized.

There are much better things to do and see in Montreal, I would skip this.

As a UK holiday maker visiting Montréal, I thought I’d check out La Ronde theme park. Having visited lots of great UK theme parks, such as Chessington World of Adventures, Thorpe Park and Alton Towers, I misguidedly thought that La Ronde would be in the same calibre if these. Sadly it was not!

The park has numerous rollercoasters, however they seem old and out dated. The only rollercoaster that I felt was great was Goliath. Whilst riding Ednor, there was a technical hitch that had me sat on the coaster for 10 minutes after having completed the loop (no English announcements were made to explain why), and whilst lining up for the Boomerang, the rollercoaster had a technical fault meaning an engineer had to be called so our queuing time was wasted. The Titan was the only other worthwhile ride at the park!

The park itself looked grubby and run down: weeds growing everywhere, rides and buildings needing a good coat of paint, and (alarmingly) rust evident on certain rides!

If you are expecting the usual array of fun, theme park mascots, La Ronde has none! The staff weren’t particularly friendly or pleasant (as you’d expect theme park staff to be).

Overall I found the admission to be highly overpriced bearing in mind that 4 rides were completely out of action the whole day. Even with the online discount for advance tickets, I felt the cost was too high for a run down looking park that had not so good operational running.

This theme park is certainly not comparable to the aforementioned UK theme parks.

If you’re considering going, my advice would be not to bother!

Please don't bring your children's there. Ride are often broken, year after year, stuck in those ride, hot temperature, no respect for customer, waiting line not covered sun direct on you. NO ices for your drink, always empty, dirty, dirty and dirty every where you look, you go, toilet so dirty. Spider thread everywhere! Rust and old building not renovated. Food, do you call that food? Staff OMG, so unprofessional, not polite at all, independent, don't ask nothing, they never know and wait to see the beautiful attitude when you ask them for something and they are paid to respond to you like this? Really they are trained and paid to act like this and WE PAY BIG BUCKS to have those kind of peoples treating us like this. Security guard, NO, we cannot call them security guard, they are people with a certain power and this is dangerous! Please don't wast your money, this park will close soon if WE consumer expect better and refuse to walk there. Very sad for Montreal, Quebec... It's a dishonor!

La Ronde was really neglected before six flags bought it. They have sunk quite a bit of money by adding new rides and redoing one side of the park. They now need everything near the entrance as well. They also need to get rid of the agora which is in a pretty bad state of decay...

My favorite roller coaster has to be the Goliath!! I have gone twice his years and we had tons of fun. Both times it wasn’t too busy and we were able to do multiple rides...

Biggest complaint is the sour smells meats some of the concession stands...

Lots of fun for the whole family... A great day trip if you are staying in Montreal... a quick subway ride on the yellow line and you are there...
