My sister, son, niece and I went today to LaRonde. This is now becoming a yearly family tradition and this was the first time that we used fast passes. They made our experience truly memorable, especially since we don’t see each other very often

Always nice to go..but lots of rides would need to disappear..stuck in the 90's. Boomerang..super manage.. le monster.pirate boat.
I visited this theme park 5 years ago, little seems changed when a I walk with my now teenaged children. When they were younger, we had fun in a few rides for young kids. Now they outgrown those, but they don’t like the huge roller coasters so there isn’t much to do.
Customer service is very poor, they just don’t care about any concerns or needs. Very frustrating.
There’s still fun to be had in La Ronde, if you go with the right expectations.
So overall pretty good, some great rollercoasters and some you may need to see a chiropractor after riding.
The new ones are exciting and if you get there early you won’t have to wait in crazy line ups. Do the new ones right away. I’d skip some of the older coasters as I really did feel my neck being pulled and jolted all over and it was not a great experience.
Overall I’m glad I went.
I went to the park for the 1st time this year and expected a lot more! First, tickets are quite expensive! Ok, it's a pass and you can come back any time during the season, but I think one visit is more than enough. Rides are very old - I felt as if I was in an amusement park from the 70s. Food options are not great either.
Went up to La Ronde-Montreal on July 28th. I am a season pass holder for the Great Escape park in Lake George so decided to take the family up for the day and International Fireworks were also going ob that night. Living close to Montreal and having traveled up there quite a few times I decided to take the metro. Parked at the Longuiel station and took the metro ($6/ per person) for round trip. Kids i believe 12 and under are free with an adult. Metro took us to Jean Drapeau and its a 20-25 minute walk through a little construction from the metro stop to the gate. Already being pass holders i got in the park quickly. Read others saying no
outside food is allowed but we took the chance and got some snacks in. This might be just lucky maybe we had
a security memeber who didn't check as thoroughly, im unsure. Once in the park everything is pretty much in
french but if you have ever been to a park before its not hard to figure out especially once you get a map.
Food is actually reasonably priced for a theme park but didn't pay that close attention bc i have a season
pass meal plan which i didn't find out till later you need a "sticker" from the meal plan center to recieve
the plan at this park bc its not my main park. As for the rides it was a little busy bc the fireworks brought more people i imagine. Went on a few good rides and have a great kids area. Definitely have some good solid
rides and a few different things then the park we are used to. Many different food choices also.
Fireworks were easily the best i have ever been to but need to find a good spot early bc unless in bleachers (extra charge) or the few open spots in the park you will have an obstructed view or be standing in a
crowd and be hard for kids to see. EVERY worker a spoke with was nice and did there best to speak English.
I totally understand that i am in Montreal and lots of people speak French but was surprised and excited
how nice the staff was trying to help me out even though they were speaking a foreign language to them. Even
though I have free parking at Six Flags parks I've read parking can be hard especially on nights they have
fireworks. Overall the experience was good and nice to try something new with the family and kids mostly in an
environment that is different for us.
