“Loved it”

OK it is not St. Peter's but as a smaller replica, it certainly stacks up favorably. I have been to both and St. Peter's is HUGE. This is much smaller but perhaps more charming as a result. Very beautiful both inside and out. Not to be missed while you are in Montreal

“not the real thing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

If you haven't ever seen the "real" St. Peter's Church, it can be an "appetizer", otherwise it is likely to be disappointing. However, for me this replica is particularly interesting as a witness to the religious and identity links that tie Quèbec to the Catholic Church.

“Like being in Rome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 23, 2012

I love this cathedral. It is majestic. It is a small replica of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. You'll want to visit it more than once and each time you'll discover something new.

“Truly beautiful cathedral”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 22, 2012

Worth a visit for the beautiful architechture and art. Went for the sacrament of reconciliation one afternoon. The priest wasn't comfortable with English, but he trudged through it, as did I. I appreciated it.
