We went with a family group that included toddlers and older kids as well as parents and grandparents. The older kids and adults enjoyed it a little more than the little kids. Some of the animals are a little difficult to see and the older kids enjoyed the challenge of finding them while the toddlers were impatient. Nonetheless, it was very enjoyable.

The line was very long however my friend and I were able to skip this. If you go to the Biodome you should also go to the botanical gardens. You can purchase a combo ticket and already have your tixs to the Biodome on hand = no line waiting. There were no special animals and the exhibits were subpar compared to a zoo. I guess since its so cold in Canada they don't have zoos and instead settle for indoor biodomes? Maybe I just don't understand.

Prices are a little high here and I'm not sure if it was worth it. Nice to see once, and kids around us looked like they were enjoying themselves. It was probably because we went on a weekend afternoon, but it was extremely crowded and you could barely walk 2 steps without bumping into tons of people. Towards the end, we felt ourselves rushing to get through it just to get past the hoards of people crowding every exhibit. Also, the animals they have are nice and interesting to see, but in the end it was just a mini version of a zoo. I would recommend coming during a less popular time to really enjoy the exhibits.

Great place for young and old alike; 4 different eco-systems from the humid rain forest to the St. Lawrence aquatic life, to the Arctic world, etc. But remember to take your time; wander through, do not rush or you'll miss the sleeping porcupines in the maple trees, the shy lynx hiding behind a rock, the pair of otters at play (I truly believe they actually pose for pictures) If you pass thru in 10-15 minutes, go back through again; to best experience these systems, an hour is the least and most relaxing way to go. Kids love the playful penguins in the last system.
