“Now for something different.”

A great place to bring your kids. Located within the Olympic park, it's main attraction is the different ecosystems (Which one experiences) from Rain forest jungle to Antarctica. Kids do love this and will ask to come back. It has indigenous aquatic animal, Cayman alligators and exotic animals found no where else in Canada. Price is very reasonable considering the value. the entry line ups at times can seem overwhelmingly long but a 300' line up clears under 15 minutes. Enjoy you visit!!!

“Interesting.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 25, 2013

Ignoring the masses of concrete surrounding the biodome and everthing near it, the work involved in building the differing environments to resemble reality (again with concrete) is very clever.
If you've got the time to sit around and watch and absorb the behaviour of the animals it is very enjoyable. Hopefully there won't be too many self absorbed teenagers who scream each time they spot a living creature.
Finding your way to the entrance and then around the other exhibits offered in the pakages can be a challenge, but hey, this is Montreal.

“Great for small kids”

We enjoyed our visit to the BioDome. It was a little pricey for the size but perfect size to get through everything with a 3 year old. Great indoor exhibits with penguins, beavers, small monkeys, and other small animals. Very clean and exhibits were well labeled in french and english.

Really neat to walk through the biodome. Its a big place but it doesn't take too long. The parking is $20 which is more then the addmission to the biodome. If you are there combine your visit with a planaterium so you get a bigger bang for your parking dollars. There is also the Montreal Observatory but I wopuld suggest not to waste your money as Mount Royal has a better view for free. Best bet is to take the Metro.

Although we have visited another attraction in Canada similar to this, we enjoyed our tour.
There was so much to see and learn about.
The method of conserving energy was interesting.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
