“Amazing, gorgeous, fantastic”

Wow, such an amazing site. Full of culture and architecture, with a gorgeous view of Montreal and so many beautiful sites. Absolutely go here and see as much as you can. I went here a week after being in France and I was absolutely blown away by how gorgeous it was.

“Must see for Catholics”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

This is where St. Andre of Montreal spent so many years as the door keeper, healing the sick. You can feel the sanctity of the space. It is a place of constant prayer. The chirch is very modern, the museum is interesting and there are unmatched views of the city.

“Modern church with a beautifull view of city”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

The St. Joseph's Oratory has two churches, a small one that was built first and main church. The main church has its modern architecture and imposing, that I had not seen anything before. The Oratory has a museum of Brother André and has a beautiful view of the city. I didn't have difficult to parking there.

The website http://www.saint-joseph.org doesn't have many images and information about it.

“A Must See”
Reviewed October 21, 2012

The story goes that pilgrims and cripples would climb the many stairs to be "healed" by Brother Andre. As you enter the first chapel you will see, hung along the walls, the crutches of those who were healed by this famous man. The full history is told in the many beautiful displays and areas of this impressive place.

“Must see for Catholics”
Reviewed October 20, 2012

This church is a must-see for Catholic travellers. We took the subway, then walked about 5 blocks to reach it. Many pilgrims (I wouldn't say tourists like at the Notre Dame Basilica) come here to pray for their loved ones and light candles. The place is huge, and the front gardens lovely.
