Owner description: Saint Joseph's Oratory of Mount-Royal, founded by Saint Brother André in 1904, is a catholic sanctuary and the largest shrine dedicated to Saint Joseph in the world. We welcome everyone to partake in panoramic views, music concerts and special religious celebrations; come discover natural, cultural and spiritual treasures in the heart of the city. You will marvel at the votive chapel containing 10,000 candles, the Oratory Museum featuring nativity scenes from around the world, the Original Chapel, the spectacular Garden of the Way of Cross, the Crypt Church and the largest domed Basilica in North America.

We visited this place and were wowed away. Beautiful architecture, great volunteers, tons of history.
This is not a place to have "fun", but a place of meditation, understanding, reverence, respect. Beautiful views from the top. Clean place throughout. This building should be visited even if you're not Catholic.

Worth the time to explore this church and its history. The views are wonderful from the top of the church.

Nice landmark and worth a visit. The nativity scenes museum really interesting and unique and shouldn't be overlooked.

This site takes a little time to visit. I would recommend buying the guidebook and following it. Also try to make one of the Carillon Bell concerts. They are beautiful. This is a great place to visit even if you aren't Catholic!
