See the iconic passage of Notre Dame and walk inside if you have the chance... Numerous cafe you could choose on along the street , you'll never be disappointed.

Amazing street filled with lots of Old World Charm. Notre Dame Cathedral is the next best thing to the original in Paris. Forever impressive in its replication. Oh Montreal, I love you.

Rue Notre-Dame is booming with small cafés and great restaurant, especially in the West side. The street goes from the Old Port onto St-Henri and further. I would recommend a nice walk in St-Henri to discover what it has to offer. Enjoy!

Notre Dame Street is like being in Europe -, maybe even better. Notre Dame Cathedral is a must see - it's where Celine Dion got married, where the funeral services of Prime Minister Trudeau were held, and where millions of tourists pray each year. The other parts of this famous street contain the City Hall of Montreal, on the steps of which President De Gaulle made his infamous "Quebec Libre" speech. It inflamed the entire Province of Quebec and embroiled its citizens in an on-going battle for separation from Canada - that's history, big time.

The shops, boutique hotels and great restaurants also adorn Notre Dame Street - and you might recognize where Robert DeNero made his movie. The sites are a pleasure to see. Yes, there are a few tourist trap shops with souvenirs made in China, so be careful - just avoid them. Stay at one of the hotels because they really are very charming and the crissants at breakfast are a real mouth-treat.

Enjoy Notre Dame - it's a landmark, it's historical it's a fantastic experience - oh, wear comfortable shoes.
