I was in the city for there light fesitval, which has many indoor and out door events based here.
I had been here many times for other festivals, but really had not explored in doors.

I thought the indoors was as well done as they do the out of door stuff.

I loved the mondern art musuem, very nice gallery.

Wow! What a night. the talent was outstanding. The Little violinist, she is phenomenal. So much energy. They had some dancers, Bag Pips and various types of Guitars and unusual instruments. They had two sets of fantastic Drummers. The Vocals were amazing and so controlled.
.Truly an exciting night. With 3 encores. We had Parterre Tickets/ The price was very good at $53.00 per person. My husband got these tickets for my Christmas Gift When you do not know what to give. Next time find out what each person likes and go ahead and book it. It is a gift that enriches your culture and an unfortgetable evening!

I had great pleasure to be invited for the opening night of Die Fledermaus on January 26th. This was a new production with many references to the City of Montreal. The costumes were beautiful, very romantic and of course colorful. However the voices were fantastic and brought back a lot of memories very clear and concise, this production was sung in French with quite a few references in English, very easy to understand. My most favorite part was the 3rd act, the singers had the audience laughing out loud at the antics of the singers, some of the singers were quite accrobatic!!!. it was great. There are only 3 more performances, I suggest run, don't walk to get a ticket, it is well worth it. The operetta was light hearted and left you humming going home. A huge bouquet of roses to all the performers.
