Great for strolling around on a fine day. Not a huge park, and no stunning landmarks. Just a pleasant area of greenery. Not far to the west is a good area to find simple fare at the neighbourhood restaurants.

a very relaxing place to sit down or just have a walk, especially if you just had a large poutine at la banquise. i learned how to use my camera by practicing in the park this past summer. it seems to be a popular place(just my observation) with poets and musicians and writers etc. anyways, its close to both metro sherbrooke and mont-royal and also has a bike track.

Great park within waliking distance from the Metro. Found a great pond with benches aligning the perimeter and sat with a good book for an hour. Felt very safe to be there and enjoyed the beauty of Montreal

This park has a nice large lake and is good place for walking, people watching, and having a picnic (we saw so many people picnicing!). We went here because it was a short walk from our hotel and my husband is interested in landscape photography. I am not sure if this is a must do when visiting Montreal, but we enjoyed it.

The Mont-Royal Park has been created by the same designer as Central Park not the Lafontaine Park.

Amazing for picnic or ice skating. For a walk or a run (even with your dog!). Theres heaps to do/enjoy in that park.

It's not rare that people go there at night to relax with friends!
