If you're looking for a great hotel in the heart of Old Montreal, look no further.

The hotel is within walking distance of everything you would want to do in Old Town. Literally around the block from the Basilica and around the other corner a plethora of restaurants and bars.

The room was very spacious and within the closet are umbrellas to borrow - just in case you forgot yours at home. Walking to your room felt like you walking down the hall to your apartment. The staff were very friendly and made the hotel feel like home. Local tip: take your complimentary glass of sparkling wine to the 6th floor terrace and view the cityscape as well as the backside of the Basillica at twilight (see attached pictures).

This hotel is in a convenient location in Old Montreal. The rooms are small but nicely furnished . The bathroom is quite large with an amazing shower, but the best part of the hotel is the staff , who are very friendly and accommodating .
The hotel includes breakfast , which is offered in it's popular restaurant and is lovely. The only comment I would make is that it is surprising that in a restaurant of this caliber that the breakfast jams are prepackaged Kraft jams and not jams offered in little pots on the table. The breakfast are prepared perfectly and I appreciate that they are not appropriately sized as opposed to over the top huge breakfast platters.

We stayed at the Hotel Bonaparte over the weekend. We received a welcome glass of champagne while we waited for our room to be ready. The room was simple, but well appointed. Our room overlooked the garden behind the hotel. The room had a king bed, closet, desk, TV (with cable) and a small refrigerator with a Keurig. The room had wooden floors and it would have been nice to have a rug. The bathroom had a tile floor and again it would have been nice to have a mat on the floor of the bathroom. The shower had good water pressure and a very nice rain fall shower head. The bed was a bit stiff which took a little bit of getting used to. Breakfast was served daily in the restaurant and was included in the room price. Breakfast was great, though the service was a touch slow. Eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, croissants, etc. The hotel is in a great location in Old Montreal. I would recommend coming here.

One of the best city hotels we have stayed in. Great location in the old town. Our room on the 5th floor was quiet and spacious. Tastefully furnished and comfy bed. Staff really friendly and helpful. Delicious cooked to order breakfast. Best of all was the restaurant. The food was out of this world . Thoughly reccomend this hotel and booking ahead for dinner as restaurant is very busy

We chose the right hotel! Right around the corner from Notre Dame, walking distance to downtown and all of Old Town, super friendly concierge (especially Luc!), great free breakfast with insanely amazing croissants. Only complaint is that it was a little hard to control the thermostat, but we were comfortable. Great value, would stay here again!
