We came in early Spring. Montreal was sunny but fairly cold! The Bonaparte has proven to be a great choice. Location was excellent. A 5 minute walk to the nearest underground proved to be extremely convenient. Our room was spacious, with nice wooden floors and decent bed. The decor is a little old but not in a bad way - it has character! The bathroom was clean and functional. The highlight for me, was the restaurant where we had the most delicious French/Canadian style breakfast. Beautiful pancakes with fresh maple syrup, fresh ground coffee, gorgeous fresh juice. Alternatively omelettes, french toast or croissants. This breakfast was included in our hotel rate and was absolutely great. We were so impressed with the breakfast that we tried the dinner at the restaurant too. This was equally as good, if not a little on the expensive side but very tasty food and well recommended! All in all this hotel was fantastic value for money and has been a great base for us to explore Montreal. Would stay again.

We spent three great nights at the Auberge last week. The hotel is very centrally located and their parking situation is the best I have ever experienced in a large downtown city. A delicious made to order breakfast was included in their adjoining restaurant. Their rooms are large and their bathrooms very well appointed. What really made our stay the very best was how accommodating and informative the staff was each and every time we had a question (especially where to eat). The great service starts with the general manager Michael Banks and flows downstream to the rest of the staff. We can not wait to visit their again on our next trip.

My husband and I stayed here in July. Great location, and lovely decor. Delicious breakfast included. Folks working at the front desk seemed self-absorbed and not too interested in customer service; seemed annoyed/put out with questions.

My family and I stayed at Auberge Bonaparte recently and it was lovely. We had a large, clean and very comfortable room in a great location in Old Montreal. A delicious full breakfast was included in the room charge. The weekend front desk/concierge, Sabrina, was enormously helpful in recommending and booking restaurants and a walking tour. Parking is very easy in a nearby lot. Everyone at the hotel was so friendly and helpful.

The inn's rooms are clean and sparsely decorated. The brick walls and bare floors give the rooms a minimalist but welcome feel. The tub was glorious!
The restaurant located in the hotel is super. The best meal we have had in a very long time. Service was very slow at the end of the meal, but they made up for it by providing a complementary glass of port. All in all a great stay!

Room Tip: All rooms are sound proof, but the higher floors have better views.
