Great location in downtown area and close to bus to airport. Rooms are large, nicely furnished, comfortable beds, and have refrigerators. Linens were beautiful snow white. Breakfast was good and included eggs, sausage, bread and muffins, cereals, juices, fruit, etc. Staff were especially friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and valued as guests. We did not experience the noise as others have noted. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise.

The location is great and is why we picked this hotel. We were very shocked that we could clearly hear the bar patrons in our room. This included their "chug" chants and belching. We have stayed in the downtown before and never had this issue. After being able to get to sleep after 2am we were woken up by the condo construction at 630am. Nothing like beeping trucks and hacking echoing coughs to start the day.
If your keen on sleeping during your stay then this place is not for you.

We enjoyed our stay. The rooms are big(2 dblb+1 sofa)and nice; breakfast is honest, buffet type(eggs, sausages,breads, muffins, juices...)however the breakfast place is a little small and need some colours;
Beds and towels are confortable;
The location is perfect, but very busy at night; if you look for extreme calm, you should avoid it;
we have to mention the front desk staff , all very kind , nice and helpfull.
I recommend this hotel

The location is ideal but this is, by far, the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. You can hear consant noise, shouting and msuci until 3am or later due to the bars/clubs outside. The front desk staff were pleasant and the rooms a good size, but the noise issue is huge, even for a deep sleeper.

I stayed at the Quality Inn on Crescent with my wife and young son back in August '13. The location was where as a college student I spent a bit of time partying and it hasn't changed that much. At 34, I think we may have brought the average age up a couple of years on the night we were staying. The balcony provided some great entertainment with folks singing and being merry on the street below, as they were leaving the bars.

Room Tip: ask for a room above the 7th floor for a view over adjacent buildings

Rooms are clean and updated. The breakfast is a joke not enough tables and there was always a line up. Front desk staff was very good and helpful. It's very noisy as the one side there is construction and the other side are bars that stay open late. Be prepared to be awake from 6.30am and not go to sleep till 3am The location is what sells this hotel

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights with our 3 grandchildren. Overall we were pleased with the hotel and our room, although the “Junior Suite” was misnamed. We thought we were getting 2 rooms separated by a half wall but it was just one big room with two queen size beds and a sofa bed. Also had a fridge and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable but the sofa bed was NOT. However our granddaughter took it without complaint. Our room on the ninth floor, Crescent St. side, had a balcony and a nice view of the city and we were high enough that street noise was muffled. The room was clean and modern. This is a hotel where the rooms are nicer than the outside leads you to expect.

We were pleased that they let us check in early (12 noon) but not happy when we returned on the following day, having been gone from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to find the room had not been cleaned. Someone showed up about 15 minutes later so we just got fresh towels and emptied the garbage. There are 2 small elevators which are often very slow, especially at breakfast. The free breakfast includes hot items and is quite good as free breakfasts go.

There are many restaurants nearby – we tried and recommend “Les 3 Brosseurs” and the take-out crepe place across from it. The mention below of Tim Hortons & Starbucks puzzles me as I didn't see them and there is only 1 Quality Inn on Crescent St. The hotel is close to shopping on Ste. Catherine St. and not far from McGill University and Mount Royal. Even if you don’t go inside, check out the sculptures around Musée des Beaux-Arts.

At a cost of $139 a night we were quite satisfied with this hotel and we love Montreal!
