“Shops, shops and more shops!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 2, 2012

We walked for several blocks on Rue Sainte Catherine in the downtown area...marveling at the variety of shops and the number of restaurants. There is so much to do and see here that it will take days to do it all!

“Shoppers Heaven”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 1, 2012

I had a few hours to kill and it was pouring rain so the concierge recommended shopping underground beginning on Rue St. Catherine. The underground city is amazing and was perfect for a rainy day with all the shops and restaurants. St. Catherine St could be compared to Broadway in New York..bustling with activity with a little bit of everything. What a great area. I wish I had a map because I could have navigated my way underground from my hotel to Rue St. Catherine. Rain or shine it is a great way to spend a few hours especially if you enjoy shopping. Great selection of stores.

“a little over rated but something you have to do.”

People watching, shopping and just experiencing Montreal. All the shops are there. Browns shoes, Ogilvy, Holt Renfrew(a little jaunt up MOuntain to Sherbrooke ) and The Bay with THE Room from Toronto (newly opened....apparently...not been yet) YOu will pass Starbucks., Indigo, and many little shops and restaurants on off shoot streets.
