“good food, waiter over-worked”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2013 via mobile

The food was enjoyable, but the waiter whilst trying to be attentive struggled as he was covering too many tables. We felt the menu lacked sufficient description of the dishes. Nice atmosphere, please switch the TV off please as this is not classy

“Dinner was a work of art”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2013

Truly a wonderful dinner, a work of art with the most amazing flavors and very delicately cooked and presented. I had the catch of the day with sauteed mushrooms, asparagus and the most unique mashed potatoes with a sprig of oregano. The waiter was very professional and his timing was perfect with attentiveness to every patron. He greets every person who stops to look at the menu while walking by, and I'm so glad that he encouraged me to come in and dine.

“Tasty, fun, reassonable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 12, 2013

A a woman traveling alone, finding restaurants that are both good and comfortable can be a challenge. Les Pyrenees proved to be a great choice. I like flavor and lots of vegetables, the restaurant provided a fabulous extra side of vegetables. The waiter helped me choose a lovely Spanish wine. The fish was cooked well. The dishes were stunning. And the price was reasonable!

“Excellent all around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 2, 2013

Another wonderful dinner in Old Montreal. The food here is more from the Basque/Catalan side of the Pyrenees. There were so many delicious sounding things that it was very difficult to order. We settled on the Soupe de Poisson (like the first course of bouillabaisse), shrimps and scollops in chorizo cream, Magret de Canard (the daily special) and codfish with chorizo. All were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and the bistro atmosphere fun.

“Never fails to be great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2013

We have eaten here many times over the years, and did so again a couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious and the waitstaff most charming. I do not hesitate to recommend this restaurant for a fine French-Catalan themed meal.
