We loved the room - super clean and modern. The staff was very kind and helpful and the room was spotless every day after being cleaned. The only issue was that we were facing the street (rue St-Paul) in room 307 and it was LOUD at night on the weekend. We had to use the speaker in the room to play white noise all night just to fall asleep. Even despite that, though, we were pretty happy with our stay. Great restaurants and bars nearby.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that doesn't face directly to the street if possible

Pardon my French. Carlos at the front desk, Christian and Philippe went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was beautiful, the shower was 22nd century and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. And to top it all off, it's location is outstanding. Only steps away from the Cathedral where we had tickets for Aura, the old port, tons of dining choices, and the street itself is a marvel. We didn't have to drive anywhere for two days.
Can't wait to return!

Le Petit Hotel is a great place to stay! Excellent location, friendly and knowledgable staff, nice continental breakfast, and cozy yet modern furnishings. Extra perk is the espresso bar available anytime.

We only stayed one night here but everything from the moment of check in to check out ran smoothly. The front desk is super friendly and very helpful, the room was spacious, pretty and had giant windows facing the side (quiet!) but still let in enough light to make the room bright in the morning. The location is fantastic —right in old Montreal and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. One little detail I loved besides all the le Labo Santal toiletries was the Elchim professional hair dryer. For those who are used to having a professional hair dryer this was a much appreciated little touch that I’ve rarely seen in even the best hotels. Breakfast is included which is a nice touch as well. I can’t think of a single thing about le petit hotel that would have made the stay better than it was. Highly recommended!

We LOVED this hotel. We were looking for something in Old Montreal to give us the feel of a European vacation and Le Petit Hotel totally fit the bill. Located on a small and charming street, it has a funky and stylish feel and the XL room that we booked was perfect for our family of 4. My daughter loved sitting on the open windowsill and looking out at the people on the street or listening to jazz from the cafe across the way. The futon in the room folds out into a bed and the hotel gave us a rollaway bed as well and we still had plenty of room. The free breakfast was a great way to start the day, with premium coffee drinks to boot (the kids LOVED the cafe mocha) and there's also a Wii in the room, although we didn't get around to asking for the batteries. My only complaint is that the outlets in the room weren't always located in the most convenient places but that's about it. Location is great, right around the corner from Notre Dame Basilica and Pointe a Calliere, the history and archaeology complex which was surprisingly cool! Short walk to the old port and lots of restaurant options. It was exactly what we were looking for!

Room Tip: The XL rooms are perfect for a family of 4 and Room 308 faced the street with a lovely view!
