“HIDDEN SECRET”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

Well, if you are not introduce, you won't find it! what a shame. In an unparticular Montreal area, here is a place were FOOD is the EXPERIENCE! On a snow storm day, we had a wonderful hearthwarming soup, and perfect SCALLOPS - as if we were in the Maritimes. They own a bakery, so the bread they serve you is THE BREAD! Will definitively go BACK for more! Enjoy

“Good food, not downtown, near TMR”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

Great Restaurant without going downtown. Close to TMR. Good wines, creative menu. A little noisy. Reservations imperative. Been several times. Always well prepared and tasty. Fish done to perfection, lamb served as ordered. Rarely can get last minute reservations.

“Excellent food but over price!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2012

Trendy and busy restaurant. (Don't go if you are looking for a quiet and romantic place) Not too big with nice terrace. Reservation a must! Very good service with knowledgeable and experience staff. Very interesting choice of ingredients which make the difference - food is well presented and excellent! We had 4 different plates and all were perfect. note: hardly any vegetables served with plate. They concentrate on the touch, the taste of the meal.
We have been blessed in Montreal to have so many excellent chef/restaurant. Each have their style but all so good. but lots of competition so one should be very careful of price! I believe because there's not many good restaurant in their area, this restaurant allows to add a few bucks more per plate as if you go downtown, plateau etc I would have found just a good but a bit cheaper ie: half a filet of vivadeau for 27$?!?!? not enough in the plate! Altough exquisite to eat you may leave hungry if you don't eat the excellent bread they serve!

“Great place for a meal...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012 via mobile

Great creative food, friendly staff and fast service... What a great surprise to find a restaurant of this caliber and not have to drive down town. Vast selection of wines and a very reasonable price, and best of all, you can order by the glass...

“What a great find! Great food without the nasty bill!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2012

We picked this restuarant for relative proximitey to the TOHU ( still a ways though) and went with the recomendation of a friendly Montreal blogger without much more Well location wise look up-- waaaaaaaaay up. this is a real neighbourhood bistro in a neighbourhood that I wouldn't likley have found myself in in my 4 day stay but were we glad we did.

The wine list was fabulous but we lucked into a chablis tasting menu so that was the wine of choice.

The atmosphere was pure energy- compfortable laughing, lots of regulars no pretense yet very professional and just great food and service.

The food was top notch, upscale bistro with excellent service and a knowledable staff. We will never step foot in Montreal without going back-- it will be up a must go for any future visit!
