A true gem of a restaurant. Small with a friendly, local feel, and tremendous food. Very fresh, inventive cuisine. Highly recommended!

“Something new to discover every time I visit”
Reviewed February 26, 2014

I love going to this place! I have been there 3 times, and each time was better than the last. The tasting menu is lots of fun, and I love the well thought out surprises for each course. I had the fish soup last time and it was amazing. Delicious and thick it was the best fish soup I have ever tasted. The warm shrimp cocktail came with delicious celery root and horseradish foam. For the main meal the fish of the day was perfectly cooked and fantastic. For dessert there was a brownie with homemade toffee and salted caramel. God I could have eaten 3 of them. I am getting so hungry just thinking about Grenadine. I think I have to go eat dinner.

“Excellent Dinner Out”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

Small little restaurant that impresses. We sat down to a delicious amuse bouche, had some of their great non-alcoholic cider. I had the quail, which had a delicious chipoltle sauce and a yummy cauliflower puree . The only disappointment was the chocolate shortcake with ganache, raspberry coulis and English cream. The cake was dry, but at least there was some good sauce to soak it in. But it came with tea or coffee as part of the price, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was friendly, quick and pleasant. Definitely would return.

“Way overated”
Reviewed February 17, 2014 via mobile

After carefully following tripadvisor to pick this restaurant, we have been really disappointed! The food was not this amazing at all. The service was not great. But really, after eating the caille and the porcinet, I could not believe all the great reviews about this place. No flavour, no charme, no style, and the food was tasteless.

“explosion of flavors”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Based on Trip Advisor reviews, we carefully chose this restaurant & went for Valentine's Day. Wow! We weren't disappointed. Each course was an explosion of flavors. The dishes were amazing original combinations of flavors that complimented each other so well, that we were oohing and aahing throughout each dish. The service was equally outstanding. You could tell the waitress was really emotionally connected to the food as well as being super attentive. It's small and full, but doesn't feel crowded. It's BYOB, so it keeps down the cost. Given the high caliber of the meal, the price was very acceptable. I can't wait to find another excuse to return. Because it's so small, reservations are a must.
