What saves this place is probably the décor, very nice ambiance and the wine list that is surprisingly long and affordable which is rather rare for an Asian restaurant in montreal (but some of the wines on the list are not available...). Service is at best approximative (as well as the food description on the menu), and frankly, the food is quite common.
The Asian salads are not very Asian, and frankly I can do better at home on that front. We did not order full sushi, but providing the sushi pizza we had is a reflexion on the rest, it is very very average (far from shodan for example). The rolls included as starter in the lunch menu were plainly tasteless.
And for a place that was not so busy, the long times between the plates and the lack of follow up from the amateur servers did not add to the equation. Luckily we were not in a rush.
So with the tons of good restaurants in old montreal and also especially the very good offering of a variety of real Asian from various countries offered in close neighborhood (the Chinese district is not that far), this one can just be skipped without missing anything.
