Managed to get breakfast before we returned to the States. It was very good, especially the pastries. Not a wide selection overall, but worth going. Great location on Rue St. Paul in Old Montreal. Closed on Sunday & Monday.

If you are looking for a quick, light breakfast, this is the place to go in Old Montreal. We were there on a Saturday morning and the place was just hopping. I assume it may be like this everyday, regardless of time of day. There seems to be a multitude of people working here and that was accounted for in the great service we were provided. The decor is quite neat and the large wooden table was a nice way to meet new people.
The breakfast panini was really good and had a little spice to it. The fruit bowl, at $8, was really fresh, yet, somewhat pricey. I expected more from a croissant in Montreal. I was hoping for lighter and flakier, but rather, it was a little dry. It would have been better if served with jam.
All in all, there is alot to choose from in this restaurant and the like I said, you definitely should check it out.

I like the place for it coffee and bakery. I usually take cappuccino and it is worth the price so does the almond croissant. Their salads are very complex and sometime overpowered with spices. From the sandwich bar i prefer The Cajun Chicken. Their soups i found too greasy..

We enjoyed a brunch here while in Old Montreal. The food was very good and the restaurant seemed spacious yet a bit congested by the front door and at the high bar table we sat at. We ordered the poached eggs in your face panini and really enjoyed the nice kick from the sriracha. The coffee was also very good and strong, we ordered a latte and cappuccino. Overall the food was very good and we would recommend eating here.

We started each morning at this very busy little bistro. I couldn't wait to get up each morning to enjoy the yogurt with fresh fruit and granola with an expresso!!!
