If you're stuck on the south shore, don't fret. This place has the wood oven bagels you crave!

Downside: if you liked the charm of eating in St. Viature, well, that's not really happening here. They have a couple tables, but it's far from charming. Also, I don't know the hours, but it's not 24/7 like in town.

But if you need a quick dozen to go, check 'em out.

I have started to veer from the usual sesame and tout-garnis and try at least one "other" flavour.

Montreal Steak Spice is a new favourite!

Leaving from the West Island back to US and stopped at (new?) location on Tascheraeu Blvd, just west off hwy 10. A word if advice- if you are heading south out if Montreal, stop at BB. Their bagels are incredible right iut if the oven. The shop smells divine, perfumed with wood smoke. Get Liberte cream cheese andand grab a knife. You are now equipped for an intense bagel experience. The only caveat is that they do not age well ad they become somewhat tough the next day, yet still delicious toasted. If you are lucky, you might dig up up some Oka, Morbier or something like it, and the remnants of brandied fois gras. Yum!! Be hungry and be prepared!

The best bagels in Montreal just brought 4 dozen to Toronto. You will not be disappointed, it is the real deal. You walk in and see them making the bagels and every time I go I get warm bagels...delicious.

Best bagels in town. Always hot and fresh& delicious. We even buy some to take on vacation in Florida, visiting friends and for family out of town.
